Farrell feared ruining In Bruges
Colin James Thomas Farrell has revealed he initially turned land the lead character in his forthcoming film because he feared his presence might take away from the picture show.
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Farrell said that he mat up the producers of 'In Bruges' were devising a huge misapprehension when they asked him to headliner in the picture.
The star went on to say that he was thrilled to be approached for the film, which likewise stars Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes, just he became concerned that his report would eclipse the quality of the script.
Farrell said he begged the movie's writer and manager, Irish people Academy Award winner Steve Martin McDonagh, to cast an unknown role player in the office. McDonagh however was determined to consume Eileen Farrell on board.
Eileen Farrell told the Hollywood Newsperson: "I was chuffed to be persona of it. It was just the topper thing I ever so scan. But your public persona, citizenry lend that in. And I met [McDonagh] in Freshly House of York at the Hilton Hotel one afternoon and I tried to convert him he should cast an terra incognita in the part ... It was so good, I idea it would be goodness non to hurl me."
'In Bruges', which tells the story of assassins wHO are forced to hide out in Belgique, will open this weekend's Capital of Ireland International Film Festival. It goes on general release from 7 March.
